THE FALL OF THE BERLIN WALL

Conceptual Project

This typographic poster was my solution to a challenge to illustrate a historical event using type only. I chose to, quite literally, build a wall of "communism" to represent the wall itself and what it stood for symbolically. I individually misplaced letters to show the wall crumbling. The poster is kept simple to honor the gravity of the moment. It was entered into the 2017 American Advertising Awards Student Division at the local level and was awarded Gold.
